The recording and presentation slides from our Embracing Local Food Literacy in Ontario Schools: Shifting your School Food Culture webinar are now available!

This webinar was the fifth in our Local Food Literacy in Ontario Schools webinar series.  Recorded on May 17, 2017, it focused on how schools can shift their school culture to better enable students to adopt a love of good, healthy and local food.

Hosted by Carolyn Webb (Sustain Ontario’s Edible Education Network), with presentations from Katie German (FoodShare), Catherine Hobbis (Ecosource), and Erin Beagle (Roots to Harvest) this webinar included many aspects of the school food environment to consider including gaining whole-community buy-in, ensuring that school food offerings and local food literacy efforts align, and exploring alternative fundraising models.
