Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, North America’s largest documentary festival, is back for its 19th season with some great films exploring the on-going food, farming, and environmental issues around the globe.  Here are just a few of the documentaries we’re hoping to catch: Finding North (US), Canned Dreams (Finland), Drought (Mexico), Peace Out (Canada!), Women with Cows (Sweden), Downeast (US), and Big Boys Gone Bananas! (Sweden).

The festival runs from April 26th – May 6th and is a great opportunity to support independent filmmakers offering global perspectives on food security and the roles we play in bringing food to our tables.

A full list of the Hots Docs schedule is available on their website.  See you at the cinema!
