Shared Opportunities on Institutional Lands – The FoodShare ‘School Grown’ Program

This case study highlights the partnership between Toronto organization FoodShare and the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) that was established in 2010. The partnership created garden programs a several TDSB schools under the School Grown program. The case study discusses the components of this innovative urban agriculture partnership including the finances, infrastructure, student involvement and the sustainability of the project.
