Reading Labels Means Healthy Food Choices

Students will identify the difference between the ingredient list and the nutrition facts table as well as understand the meanings of descriptors within the table. Students will also identify which nutrients are in different products by reading the food labels and create a menu for a meal that contains all of the necessary nutrients.
