Perspectives on Planning for Agriculture and Food Security in the Commonwealth
This report provides a compilation of perspectives on the challenges, tools, and opportunities used in food security planning in the Commonwealth. The tools are explained through case studies, and contextualizes factors influencing food security (e.g. climate change; land degradation; population growth and shift; agricultural system change; land use change; land tenure; urbanization; farmland preservation; and fisheries). The report then provides some strategic development ideas from the case study knowledge.
