New Farmers and Alternative Markets within the Supply- Managed System

This report seeks to provide some insight for the new generation of farmers who wish to not adhere to the conventional supply-management forms of farming, and where opportunities for differentiation in the market can occur. Economic and quota regulations are addressed, and options for accommodation of needs are suggested, with analysis of pros and cons. Moreover, the report speaks to discussions of differences in supply management systems that, to aid new farmers, need to take place.
