Muskoka’s Foodshed: A stretegy for sustainable local food in a creative rural economy

This report presentation is a collection of information and material that helped form the food strategy in the Muskoka region. The report identifies the foodshed area and its guides, its goals, and specific strategies to be achieved. It focuses on the economy, community, education, and food literacy to create goals both short and long term. This approach provides one example of building community capacity, and can be examined to draw knowledge from for other regions.
