Local Food Procurement Policies: A Literature Review
This review examines potential the benefits of local food procurement policies, specifically for Nova Scotia, by reviewing existing policies and initiatives across several jurisdictions. Specific steps to develop and implement these local food procurement policies are provided. Further, the paper identifies potential challenges in implementation and provides examples of previously used successful solutions.
