Household food waste: the implications of consumer choice in food from purchase to disposal

This article analyses the results of a survey of food practices from purcahse, to plate, to disposal and the environmental implcations of these practices. The survey took place in New Zealand and found that food waste increases according to the number of young individuals in the household.
