Hens in Urban Areas
A website abstracted from the Ottawa Food Action Plan, authored by the Food For All Project and outlining proposed changes to zoning bylaws to permit raising of hens in residential back yards. A full assessment of the policy issues, anticipated objections and barriers, and in particular of health risks associated with such a change, is provided.
