This report overviews the changes in British Columbia (BC)’s agricultural land reserve as urban development pushes into farming areas. The report provides two major recommendations, falling under the themes of: long term land development, and maintaining agricultural preservation duties. This report, and alongside BC’s future agriculture policy may be opportunities for models Ontario farming and farmland plans can look to.
