Do trade agreements substantially limit development of local / sustainable food systems in Canada?

There is great concern that certain elements of trade agreements limit local/sustainable food procurement. This article examines various trade agreements and policies and their impact on local/sustainable food systems. Recommendations are proposed that would allow for governments to support local/sustainable food procurement without triggering trade disputes.
