Community Gardening on Private Land and City of Ottawa Land
This website outlines the Ottawa Food Policy Council’s vision for Ottawa citizens to have access to land for community gardens. The chapter includes recommendations for the city to be more inclusive of community gardens. The city of Ottawa formally recognized the importance of community gardens in 2009 and this document aims to put that sentiment into practice by giving realistic recommendations to make Ottawa more food secure.
