Building Indigenous Food Sovereignty

This article discusses Indigenous Food sovereignty and how attaining this is a tremendous uphill battle. The article talks about a Concordia Food Coalition and how they hosted a panel discussion on Indigenous food security and sovereignty. This event was a week-long series called “Bite Me”, which centred around issues of food security, urban agriculture and sustainability. It also talks about the Kahnawake community and their community gardens.
