Alternative Avenues Local Food Pilot: Local Food Month

During Local Food Month (October) 10 Hospitality and Tourism programs across Peel Region participated in Local Food Month. They were challenged to (a) Ensure that 70% of their total produce purchased was grown in Ontario; (b) Host a local/healthy food awareness event led by students; and (c) Submit one student-created local recipe that meets PPM 150.
