The first webinar in a two-part series on Roots to Harvest’s Forest Meets Farm school food pilot project was held on October 30, 2018, and you can now view a recording of the webinar (also below) and download the webinar slides.

The second webinar will offer more detailed evaluation findings and the presentation of an adaptable Forest Meets Farm Recipe Book/Toolkit.
The ‘Forest Meets Farm’ pilot project has students in four Thunder Bay high schools exploring a variety of locally produced and wild foraged food sources in order to strengthen knowledge, skills and attitudes around their methods of production, harvesting, preparation and consumption. Learn more.
