Are you seeking a deeper understanding of urban agriculture and sustainable cities?

Register for CVFN 411 – Dimensions of Urban Agriculture at Toronto Metropolitan University. In this fully online course, you’ll explore the roles, benefits and potential risks of urban agriculture from the perspectives of health and food security, economics, environment and socio-cultural issues. Readings, videos and online discussion will link to current topics in both the Global North and South, including analyses of power and privilege, Indigenous issues and the COVID pandemic.

Course starts January 15, 2024.

CVFN 411 is part of the four-course Urban Agriculture Certificate Program.

If you have a particular interest in urban food systems and food security, the Chang School is also offering CFNY 408 – Urban Food Security in Winter 2024, as part of TMU’s Food Security Certificate.
