Happy Ontario Agriculture Week!
This year, Ontario Agriculture Week is October 3-9, 2022. #OntAgWeek is a time dedicated to celebrating Ontario’s hard-working farmers and the abundance of good food they produce.
To celebrate, support our local farmers and find local food near you with the BuyLocalFoodAcrossOntario.ca map, featuring regional buy-local initiatives and food maps all across the province.
For a week dedicated to celebrating local agriculture, we also encourage you to revisit our Vote ON Food campaign.
The #VoteONFood Good Food and Farming Ideas remain pertinent to all leaders who shape policy in our neighbourhoods, schools, towns, cities, provinces and country — so you’ll find some useful talking points and food for thought as the municipal elections approach. If we want to continue celebrating local agriculture, we must choose leaders who support sustainable food systems.
