Food Secure Canada and PROOF are hosting a webinar, Identifying Policy to Reduce Household Food Insecurity in Canada, on Thursday, September 29, from 1 – 2 p.m. ET.

The webinar will be based on PROOF’s report published in August 2022, Household Food Insecurity in Canada, 2021.

Valerie Tarasuk (PROOF, Université de Toronto), Afua Asantewaa (Food Secure Canada), and Kristina Craig (Yukon Anti-Poverty Coalition) will hold a discussion on the current state of food insecurity in Canada, who are most at risk, and the evidence-based policy interventions that reduce food insecurity by improving the financial resources of low-income households.

The event is free and open to all, and interpretation will be provided.
