Is your school looking for a fresh take on fundraising?

Schools have until October 5, 2022, to enrol in this year’s Fresh from the Farm, Healthy Fundraising for Ontario Schools.

The popular fundraiser provides schools with the opportunity to raise funds by selling fresh Ontario-grown fruit and vegetables to the community, all while promoting healthy eating and supporting Ontario farmers.

The fundraiser works as a single fundraising event, with a school delivery scheduled for an advised date in November through to early December; 40% of sales go directly to the school. Based on history, a school selling an average of 150 vegetable bundles and 60 apple bundles raises $1,560.

Since Fresh from the Farm’s launch in 2013, 2,200 schools have raised over $1.9 million for school initiatives, selling 4.3 million pounds of fresh Ontario-grown fruit and vegetables to Ontario families. This has generated almost $5 million in local food sales.

Schools have until October 5th to enrol, and until October 12th to submit/change their orders.
