Canadian Organic Growers is hosting a free webinar on Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Regenerative Organic Agriculture on Wednesday, March 2, from 1 – 2 p.m. EST.

In this in-depth webinar, Dr. Kris Nichols, leading soil scientist and senior science advisor at Canadian Organic Growers, will give a detailed presentation on GHG emissions and climate change with an organic management context.

“We will explore the current emissions data and the life cycles of GHGs such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, water vapour and methane,” COG shares. “With a better understanding of GHGs, we will take a deep dive into what constitutes a healthy soil ecosystem and how enhancing soil biology by utilising organic techniques can impact plant health, climate resilience, and the farmer’s bottom line.”

The webinar will be held in English with simultaneous French interpretation available.
