A recording is now available of the January 27th Coalition for Healthy School Food webinar on school food research in Canada:

This webinar featured a presentation on the first-ever Canada-wide comprehensive research on school food programs, ‘Characteristics of Canadian school food programs funded by provinces and territories’, by Dr. Amberley Ruetz and Dr. Mary McKenna.

Dr. Rachel Engler-Stringer, who co-hosts the School Food Working Group of the Canadian Association of Food Studies with Dr. Ruetz, also joined to talk about case study research on promising school food program models across Canada.

Dr. Donald Bundy, the Director of the Global Research Consortium for School Health and Nutrition, talked about global evidence for a school food program.

Presentation slides from the webinar are also available here.
