Join Kawartha Conservation, the Lake Simcoe and Toronto Region Conservation Authorities, and the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association for a Lunch-and-Learn webinar on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., to learn more about agricultural stewardship and funding programs available to farmers.

Speakers include Danielle Marcoux-Hunter, Landowner and Community Support at Kawartha Conservation; Peter Shuttleworth, Restoration Projects Specialist at Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority; Patrick Esson, Senior Project Manager, Restoration Projects at Toronto Region Conservation Authority; and Robin Brown, Workshop Leader at Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association.

Presenters will share exceptional projects undertaken by producers across the eastern GTA that support sustainable soil management, water conservation, and overall watershed health.

Attendees will also gain more information on how to overcome technical and financial barriers by learning about funding opportunities and agricultural stewardship programs available for producers in the Kawartha Watershed, Lake Simcoe Watershed, and Toronto Region.
