Community Food Centres Canada (CFCC) is currently seeking a full-time Grants Manager for a 14-month contract (parental leave coverage).

The Grants Manager is responsible for overseeing all of CFCC’s grants programs, from identifying potential partners, reviewing proposals, and budgets, (drafting agreements) tracking, following up on project reports and financial reports, and managing ongoing communication to monitoring, ensuring that appropriate guidelines, reflecting the organization’s mission and strategic plan, are in place, that a rubric for selection is established and adhered to, and that deadlines and reporting systems are in place to which grantees are accountable. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Knowledge Exchange, and works collaboratively across all departments as relates to successful granting processes. As a member of the Knowledge Exchange team, the Grants Manager will also contribute to some of the general activities associated with CFCC’s Good Food Organization program, including program evaluation, data collection, content development and event planning.

Location: Toronto, Ontario – candidates in other locations will be considered

Reports to: Senior Manager, Knowledge Exchange

Hiring Range: $60,000 – $72,000 annually, group benefits including medical, dental and EAP, a defined benefit pension plan, professional development opportunities, 15 paid vacation days in first year of employment (increasing to 20 in second year), as well as time off between Christmas and New Year to recharge and professional development opportunities.
