The Greenbelt Foundation is hosting a free webinar on soil health on Wednesday, October 27, from 6 – 7 p.m EDT.

The webinar will introduce attendees to the soil health movement at both the local and global scale, and provide the opportunity to ask questions.

Special guest speaker David Montgomery, Professor of Geomorphology at the University of Washington and author of Growing a Revolution: Bringing Our Soil Back to Life, will provide an introduction to soil health and outline its value for people, the planet, and farm profits. Participants will also hear from an innovative farmer adopting sustainable farming practices and learn how soil management practices are critical for the health of our local watersheds.

The event will be moderated by Mel Luymes, and guest speakers include David Montgomery, Mark Eastman, and Joanne Feddes.
