Community Food Centres Canada (CFCC) is currently hiring for the position of Manager, Partnership Development (Full-time, Permanent). Applications are due by July 5, 2021.

CFCC is growing to support its ambition to develop community food centres in 20 communities across Canada, innovate new approaches to addressing food insecurity and advocate for positive change for low-income communities. For this position, CFCC is seeking a highly-motivated, effective, organized and ideally fluently bilingual (French/English – written and spoken) person with a solid background in food insecurity issues, project and partnership management.

The salary range is $60,000 – $68,000 annually, including a benefits plan, pension plan, 3 weeks paid vacation (4 weeks after first year) and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with partnership management team to develop, implement and oversee systems and procedures to manage partner relationships (including selection, application, agreement, program and financial reporting, collaboration and review process)
  • Work from a strengths-based, community development and inclusive approach, manage relationships with assigned partner CFC sites, community partners, potential applicants and declined applicants, and active grantees
  • Oversee a grants portfolio for assigned partner CFC sites – which involves administrative tasks including tracking of funding, developing agreements, and grant letters while remaining on top of reporting and stewardship responsibilities as appropriate
  • Work with CFC  partners to develop and review their annual operations plan and budget
  • Use regular online meetings, reports and annual review processes to work with assigned partner sites to reach their program goals, financial targets, and to meet CFCC operating standards
  • Facilitate network development and collaboration opportunities between partners, and identify opportunities for mentorship and leadership within CFCC’s networks
  • Connect partners with CFCC materials and resources to support effective development of programs,  as well as identifying new supports or resources, as required
  • Collaborate with CFCC departments to support CFCC’s strategic priorities, and special projects (such as national campaigns, fundraising, etc.)
  • Create/streamline a two-way process of communication between evaluation, knowledge exchange, policy, communications and fundraising departments within CFCC so that each partner’s needs are communicated
  • Contribute to, facilitate and lead the development of resources, orientation and education sessions, and/ or events which support learning and networking for partner sites
  • Track, analyze and respond to inquiries and requests for information from potential partner sites and community organizations
  • Contribute to broader team work on administration, communications, evaluation, fundraising and budgets
  • Travel to partner sites is required periodically (under normal circumstances)
