Farm to Cafeteria Canada (F2CC) is seeking volunteer Advisory Council Members who are passionate about food systems and interested in helping to bring healthy, local and sustainable food into public spaces.

The Advisory Council (AC) is responsible for stewarding the organization’s direction, success, and ensuring long-term sustainability. AC members provide guidance and support to the National Director and project teams by advising on program development, annual budget planning and fundraising, while helping to grow the national network and strengthen partnerships.

They are seeking individuals with experience, expertise, and passion in any (or a combination) of the following areas:

  • Regenerative food systems
  • Food justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Indigenous food systems, knowledge and values
  • Experiential education
  • Public health
  • Environmental sustainability
  • Public / institutional procurement
  • Business administration
  • Finance and fundraising
  • Non-profit development
  • Evidence-based research
  • Policy and advocacy
  • Complex systems change
