Tickets are now on sale for FoodShare Toronto‘s annual fundraiser, Recipe for Change!

This year’s virtual event will offer a week of online tours with a behind-the-scenes look at FoodShare’s programs, accompanied by FoodShare staff!

As just a couple of examples — participants will get the opportunity to see how their urban agriculture team works with youth on organic city farms; and another tour will bring participants (virtually) inside the FoodShare warehouse, where their team boosted the number of weekly Good Food Boxes of fresh produce delivered from 200 to more than 2,000 in response to the pandemic.

The week will conclude with a live panel discussion on what the right to food looks like.

One ticket gets you access to:

  • a 7-Day Silent Auction (Feb. 19 – 26)
  • the Virtual Site Tours (Feb. 22 – 25)
  • Q&As and workshops with the FoodShare team, including a cook-along and a how-to for DIY plant hangers (Feb. 22 – 25)
  • A live Q&A on Friday, February 26, with the chance to engage with elected officials on what the right to food means to you (Feb. 26)

Tickets are pay what you can, with a suggestion of $45.
