Thank you to all who joined Sustain Ontario for our Farm to School Month webinar with Farm to Cafeteria Canada (F2CC) earlier this week, Sharing the Impacts of the F2S Canada Grants Program in Ontario.

For those who missed it, we’ve shared a recording on YouTube:

This webinar looked at the farm to school approach and shared the great successes of the Farm to School Canada Grants program — which, in Ontario alone, has reached over 15,000 students throughout 32 schools!

In the webinar, you’ll hear how Farm to School programs support public health, education & learning, community economic development, and vibrant school communities.

Find more information about Farm to School in Ontario and Canada with the links below, which were highlighted in the webinar:

You can also learn about Farm to Cafeteria Canada’s current initiative to develop an Evaluation Framework for Farm to School for Canada. F2CC will be hosting four upcoming 1.5-hour bilingual meetings for participants to help refine outcomes and indicators and discuss how to measure the impacts of farm to school programs in Canada.
