The Organic Council of Ontario (OCO) and the Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario (EFAO) have partnered to deliver a Fall Field Day Series with the support of the Canadian Organic Growers (COG), as part of OCO’s ongoing Regenerative Programs and Incentives Feasibility Study.

The series includes four virtual field days with Ontario farms that employ regenerative agriculture practices and principles:

  • Regenerative Agriculture on Diversified Farms, Tuesday Oct. 13th
  • Regenerative Dairy with Upper Canada Creamery, Thursday Oct. 15th
  • Collaborative Farm Sales with Green Circle Food Hub, Tuesday Oct. 20th
  • Measuring Regeneration with Ecological Indicators, Thursday Oct. 22nd

Farmers will discuss their differing approaches, techniques and the benefits they reap from working with natural ecological cycles to pursue regeneration and resilience within their farm ecosystems.

Participants will have a chance to see successful examples of regenerative practices demonstrated in a pre-recorded tour and then join a live discussion and Q+A session.

The full series cost is $15 for OCO and EFAO Members and $20 for non-members, or each individual event is $5. If you’re interested in attending but cost is a barrier, contact events@efao.ca.
