Moe Garahan (Just Food) and Rhonda Teitel-Payne (Toronto Urban Growers), Co-Chairs of the Ontario Community Growing Network (OCGN), are hosting a webinar on Thursday, April 16, at 4:30 p.m. EDT, to deliver an update on the community garden situation in Ontario and the petition for them to be identified as an essential service.

The webinar will include details on the OCGN consultations that have taken place over the last two weeks, the development of proposed safety protocols, a letter sent to the province, and responses.

While the webinar is structured as a listening session, attendees will have the opportunity to add questions to a chat box.
