The Halton Food Council has just announced the launch of the Halton School Garden Network, a space for educators, parents, and community members to gather the tools and resources they need to start a community garden.

“We want as many Halton residents as possible to have access to the support that they need to start a school garden in their community,” the Halton Food Council shared in their newsletter announcing the Network.

The goal of the Network is to create a central hub of garden resources available to all schools within Halton Region. All Halton Region schools are invited to participate and become part of a larger school and community garden network.

Once registered, you’ll have access to a number of helpful tools and resources! Learn more.
