Are you between the ages of 18 and 30 and interested in shaping the future of the Canadian agriculture and agri-food sector?

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) has launched Canada’s first Agricultural Youth Council, providing an opportunity for the next generation of leaders to share their personal experiences, unique perspectives, and innovative ideas on how to tackle new issues facing youth in the agriculture and agri-food sector.

“The new Canadian Agricultural Youth Council is a group of young Canadians who will provide advice on new and emerging issues that matter most to the sector, enable on-going dialogue on food-related challenges and opportunities, share information and best practices, and provide advice on the strengths and weaknesses of policies and programs affecting the agriculture and agri-food sectors,” the AAFC website shares.
