The Canadian Network for Environmental Education and Communication (EECOM) is bringing their annual conference to Toronto on October 21-24, 2020, and is currently inviting proposals for presentations, sessions, workshops and other facilitated learning opportunities.

“Well-timed to address growing concerns about the rate and pace of climate change, this conference will equip educators at all levels in school and community settings with the knowledge and skills they need to help their learners and communities make a shift towards environmental sustainability,” the event website shares.

The focus of this year’s conference is on Urban Environmental Education, and is being hosted in Toronto by EcoSchools Canada, the Environmental & Sustainability Education Initiative at OISE, University of Toronto, and the Toronto District School Board’s Sustainability Office.
