Bring Food Home October 29th

As one of our four Bring Food Home 2019 regional events, with support from Whole Foods Market, the Indigenous Food Circle in collaboration with the Thunder Bay and Area Food Strategy (TBAFS) and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) are hosting an Urban Access to Traditional Food: Understanding Wild Game event on Tuesday, October 29th at Ka-Na-Chi-Hih, Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Learn about the cultural importance and connection to wild game, the regulations around wild game in institutional settings and how organizations can collaborate on barriers.

Guest Speakers include Kathy Loon from Meno Ya Win Health Centre, Hayley Lapalme from Nourish Canada and celebrity chef Rich Francis, owner of Seventh Fire Hospitality Group.
