October 1st marks the beginning of another Farm to School Month!

Led by Farm to Cafeteria Canada (F2CC), Farm to School (F2S) Month is celebrated across the country each October to grow the F2S movement and to shine the spotlight on all things farm-to-school by sharing resources, tips and inspiration.

Healthy People, Healthy Planet is the theme for 2019’s Farm to School Month, with an aim to engage and empower children and youth to learn how they can take action to promote the health of both people and planet.

Once again, F2CC will be offering three seed grants of $1,500 each to grow Farm to School activities, with registration launching on October 1, 2019 — visit their website for more details on the Zero Food Waste Challenge!
