Roots to Harvest, USC Canada – Seeds of Survival, The Bauta Family Initiatives on Canadian Seed Security, Superior Seed Producers and the Lakehead University Agriculture Research Station are hosting an event on agroecology and seed security in Thunder Bay on August 11 & 13, 2019.

The panel discussion and Q&A on ecological agriculture and seed security in Northwestern Ontario will take place on Sunday, August 11, from 6-8 p.m., then the intro to seed saving workshop is on Tuesday, August 13, from 9:30 a.m. – 12 noon.

The event is open to anyone interested in growing food or learning more about sustainable food systems in the Thunder Bay Area.
