The N2N Hamilton Community Food Centre is hosting a free screening of Six Primrose, a documentary about how food brought a Canadian community together, at the Playhouse Cinema in Hamilton on Tuesday, June 25, from 6 – 8:30 p.m.

“Filmaker John Hills captures the transformational changes that happen in a community in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia where a community rallies to build a vibrant Community Food Centre,” the Eventbrite page shares. “A parking lot transforms into a community garden, strangers turn into friends, despair becomes hope and together, residents start to push for change.”

A panel discussion with N2N Hamilton Community Food Centre staff, community members and stakeholders will follow the film screening.
