Sustain Ontario and our Edible Education Network would like to join many others in thanking the Senators listed in the attached graphic for raising their voices in support of Bill-S228, a bill to prohibit food & beverage marketing directed at children, during the May 28 and May 29 Senate sittings.
Research has shown that food & beverage marketing has an impact on childhood obesity rates and increased risk factors for diseases like diabetes, heart disease, stroke & cancer. Read more from the Stop Marketing to Kids Coalition here.
