The Senate has referred MP Wayne Stetski’s Private Member’s Bill C-281—An Act to establish a National Local Food Day—to its Standing Committee on Agriculture and Forestry.

To show your support for Bill C-281 at Committee so it can pass through the Senate, you can write to the Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry:

With your support, the first National Local Food Day could be this October! The Bill would designate the Friday before each Thanksgiving as National Local Food Day.
