FoodShare, together with LoyaltyOne, EcoSource, and special guest, The Green Bronx Machine’s Stephen Ritz, invite all Ontario elementary teachers for a *free* day of learning, experiencing, networking and ideation.

Come and see why over 200 schools nation-wide are raving about the Good Food Machine program — an experiential learning, curriculum-linked food literacy program for teachers of all experience levels and students of all ages.

When:

Friday, June 7, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (with an optional networking event from 3:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.)

Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Where:

Globe and Mail Building, 351 King Street East, Toronto, 7th Floor, Dubai Room.

Workshop spaces are all wheelchair accessible.

Location is TTC accessible and there are multiple “Green P” parking lots in the neighbourhood.

Who Is It For?

All elementary teachers involved in the Good Food Machine, or who would like to learn more about it.

What To Expect:

· Explore the program’s hydroponic growing towers

· Experience hands-on activities, custom built for elementary-aged students

· Participate in an interactive tutorial from The Green Bronx Machine’s Stephen Ritz to explore the program’s new Growing and Learning Guide

· Connect and build community with peers, sharing insights and ideas to support growing and cooking with students
