Tickets are now available for Ontario Farmland Trust’s 2019 Farmland Forum, taking place on Thursday, March 28, 2019, in Niagara Region at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area.

An early-bird rate for tickets is available until March 7, 2019.

This year’s forum will explore the theme “A Natural Systems Approach to Farmland Protection.”

The full day of presentations & discussion will look at:

  •  Public-private partnerships in New York that use farmer-driven approaches to promote water quality protection and agricultural viability
  • Planning strategies/tools that take a farm-first approach to farmland and environmental feature protection
  • Whole-farm and broader system approaches and land use planning policy in Ontario and beyond
