National Farm to School Conference updates: registration open & call for proposals extended

With Farm to Cafeteria Canada’s National Farm to School Conference in Victoria B.C. now just over 4 months away—taking place on May 15-17, 2019—there are some important updates to share:

Call For Proposals – If you are interested in presenting at the conference, please submit as soon as possible! The extension for call for proposals will be closing on January 20, 2019.

Registration – Online registration is openThis conference will gather over 450 expected participants from across the continent for an opportunity to learn, celebrate, share and inspire the movement to bring healthy, local and sustainable foods to the minds and plates of students in Canada and beyond. We hope to see you there!

Accommodations – Some partnerships have been made with hotels in Victoria that have offered discounts (first come, first serve). If you are unable to get the rates posted on the F2CC website, please contact the hotel directly, or contact F2CC if you have any issues. (Keep in mind this is the May long weekend so hotels will fill up.)

Exhibitors – Would you like a table at the conference to showcase your product/org? F2CC is currently accepting table rentals for May 16th & 17th. For more information, contact Marcus Lobb, Conference Coordinator @ conference@farmtocafeteriacanada.ca.
