Calling all educators!

FoodShare’s Field to Table Schools team would like to invite two representatives from your school/community to a free 3-part webinar series to introduce you to the Good Food Machine program, and share the resources you’ll need to kick off your own tower garden program!

You can choose to attend one or more of the following webinar sessions, all from 3:30-4:30 pm:

Session 1 | Thursday, October 25 – What is the Good Food Machine/Tower 101 – In this 60 minute session participants will learn how the Good Food Machine program got started and how to apply to the program. Participants will learn the basics of tower management with students & maintenance for optimal plant growth.

Session 2 | Thursday, November 1 – Growing, Harvesting & Animating – In this 60 minute session, participants will discuss the common factors and solutions encountered when growing new seedlings to harvesting mature plants. Participants will learn how to animate the Good Food Machine in their school/community using curriculum linked Gardening & Cooking lesson plans with a local food focus. Get inspired by our live food demo!

Session 3 | Thursday, November 8 – In this 60 minute session, participants will be introduced to a slew of resources and learn how to navigate through the E-learning platform and Good Food Machine Educator Package and Toolkit.

Participants can submit questions before each webinar to goodfoodmachine@foodshare.net.
