That’s a wrap! Bring Food Home 2017 has come to an end and we are overwhelmed at the positive and glowing responses we have heard from attendees. What a great four days that was! There has been great feedback about the tours on Thursday, October 26th, the opening day ceremony, ignite session, plenary, Halloween Social and all other information and collaboration sessions at the conference! Sustain will be uploading a Bring Food Home blog post series within the next few weeks so please keep your eye out for some updates!

And….. Thank you!

On behalf of Sustain Ontario, we would like to personally thank everyone involved in the Bring Food Home conference on October 27-29th at the University of Ottawa! This event could not have been a success without the dedication and hard work of all those involved. First, we want to thank our partners, Just Food and the Eastern Ontario Local Food Conference. You helped us through the whole way and it was an overall success!

Thank you to our Program Planning Committee, Social Planning Committee and Conference Coordinating Committee. Without all your coordinating efforts and hard work this would not have been possible.

Thank you to the University of Ottawa who graciously helped us book this great venue!

Thank you to the Student Researchers for your dedication and perseverance on the policy position papers and the research you conducted all summer!

Thank you to our networks for assisting in the planning process of the conference and adding valuable suggestions and guidance for the layout of the sessions.

Thank you to all the Sponsors, speakers, volunteers and conference attendees! Thank you all for being part of the impact and adding your voice to help us move toward a brighter and more sustainable food future.

And to our small but mighty Sustain Team- We did it!

We hope everyone was were able to make some great connections, collaborate and share ideas, thoughts and experiences with each other. You all made this possible and we can’t wait for Bring Food Home 2020.

Very sincerely The Sustain Ontario Team!
