The David Suzuki Foundation and York University are hosting a one-day symposium on Thursday, September 21, Impacts of and alternatives to systemic pesticides: a science-policy forum.

The event is bringing together a host of global expertise with scientists from across Canada, Europe, and the Far East, whose ground-breaking research on the impacts of neonicotinoid insecticides has played a significant role among policy-makers.

The forum costs $20 and is taking place from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sept. 21 at the Stong Dining Hall, Stong College, at York University. It may be of interest especially to government policy-makers and technical staff, university researchers and students, stakeholders and those in the agricultural sector.
