Join Us in Celebrating our Local School Food Champions!

Sustain Ontario’s Edible Education Network and our local food literacy project partners decided to celebrate Ontario Local Food Week 2017 by honouring the individuals who are working hard to bring local food literacy into Ontario schools. And so we reached out far and wide to ask people to nominate individuals as Local School Food Champions.
If you haven’t yet seen them please check out all of the #SchoolFoodChamp posts that we received on Twitter. While we’ve already drawn a prize winner for the Bring Food Home ticket (those who were nominated by the June 5th deadline were entered for the chance to win the prize), we’re still encouraging people to celebrate their Local School Food Champ by sharing a tweet or post on social media using #SchoolFoodChamp.
