The Ontario Ministry of Education has been looking to better understand what student well-being (from Kindergarten – Gr 12) looks like and what contributes to it, and so has been undergoing an engagement process to seek public feedback (deadline of March 19th, 2017).
Sustain Ontario’s Edible Education Network has taken this opportunity to communicate how school food can greatly contribute to student well-being. We have sought feedback from individuals and organizations that are involved in school food and have summarized these experiences in a submission to the Ontario Ministry of Education.
