PrintThe Local Community Food Centre in Stratford, Ontario is looking for an Executive Director, who is committed to social justice, familiar with the issues of food insecurity and able to work collaboratively with the Stratford community on strategies to promote food security.

If you have significant leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector with excellent governance, financial and management skills, this is an exciting opportunity for you to make an impact.

The Local Community Food Centre began 3 years ago in Stratford as a project of the United Way of Perth-Huron and has grown into a vibrant community centre, using food as a gateway to addressing many issues, including poverty, social isolation and health. The goal has been set for the Local CFC to transition into an independent organization with its own charitable status in 2016.

Applications are being accepted until 4pm, April 8, 2016. Click here for full job posting!
