Urban Farm Launch Mar 18 in Scarborough Ontario

There is a new community-based urban farm at Gordonridge Place near Midland and Danforth in Scarborough, Ontario. FoodShare Toronto announced that a Community Grown Launch Party will be held on Friday, March 18 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Public is invited to stop by and pick up free seeds for home gardens, enjoy family fun activities, and sign up for free training opportunities.
This garden hub provides a place for “food, training, and culture” to happen. There will be ongoing learning opportunities, community gatherings, and good food growing.
